Hi, I'm Tanya.

I fell in love with IT the moment the first computer entered my life, when I took it apart completely and barely managed to put it back together. That was when the internet was still dial-up, with its memorable connection sound that also tied up the home phone. Maybe that's why my grandmother always grumbled about "modern technology" whenever she couldn't call her friends.

My first programming language was Pascal. My favorite in university was assembly. I used Linux for years, but in the end macOS won me over with the simple "set it up once and forget it."

What drew me to programming and computers was that everything in them is always clear and predictable. Everything built on logic. And you can construct your own systems. That love for systems is what led me to the cloud and to infrastructure.

Designing systems is something in my blood. Something that can absorb me completely. I build them everywhere, from my own life to the projects I work on.

This isn't just my job. It's me. It's the way I think. Maybe that's why mathematics, for me, isn't a tool. It's the language the universe runs on.

All of this together brought me to IT, as if there was never another option.
